Henning Kruthaup is an entrepreneur from Berlin and founder of Growthpaca GmbH. With a business degree from Missouri State University (cum laude, 2006) and over 15 years of experience building digital businesses, he has already realised several successful projects.
The idea for FaxMonkey grew out of personal experience: when he needed to send a fax and had no fax machine, the search for a simple solution was frustrating. Complicated sign-up processes, opaque pricing, unnecessary subscriptions - there had to be a better way.
FaxMonkey is the result: a service that does exactly what it should - send faxes. No frills, no subscription, no compulsory registration. Simply upload the document, pay, done.
Our mission
Does faxing sound old-fashioned? Perhaps. The reality is different though: millions of documents are sent by fax every day - to authorities, courts, medical practices, lawyers and businesses. Fax remains the official communication channel in many areas.
The problem: very few people still have a fax machine at home. And if you only need to send a fax once a year, you do not want to sign up for a subscription or struggle with complicated software.
Our vision
A world where no one needs to buy a fax machine or subscribe just to fax a document once. We believe faxing should be as simple as sending an email - and that is exactly what we make possible.
The story behind FaxMonkey
FaxMonkey did not start as a business idea, but from a concrete problem. As an entrepreneur I regularly had to send documents by fax - cancellations, documents for authorities, contracts. Owning a fax machine felt anachronistic.
The existing online fax services had the same issues: they pushed me into a subscription, required registration or had opaque pricing structures. I just wanted to send a single fax - why was that so complicated?
So we built FaxMonkey: a service that does exactly what users need. Upload the document, enter the number, pay, done. No registration, no subscription, no hidden costs. The price is clear upfront, the delivery report arrives by email. That is how faxing should be.
