Henning Kruthaup is an entrepreneur from Berlin and founder of Growthpaca GmbH. With a business degree from Missouri State University (cum laude, 2006) and over 15 years of experience building digital companies, he has already realised several successful projects.
The idea for FaxMonkey came from personal experience. When he needed to send a fax but did not have a fax machine, the search for a simple solution was frustrating. Complicated sign-up processes, opaque pricing, unnecessary subscriptions, it could be better.
FaxMonkey is the result, a service that does exactly what it is supposed to do, send faxes. No frills, no subscription, no mandatory registration. Just upload the document, pay, done.
Our mission
Faxing sounds old-fashioned? Maybe. But reality is different. Millions of documents are sent by fax every day, to authorities, courts, medical practices, lawyers and companies. Fax is still the official communication channel in many areas.
The problem is that hardly anyone has a fax machine at home. And if you only need to send a fax once a year, you do not want a subscription or to wrestle with complicated software.
Our vision
A world where nobody needs to buy a fax machine or take out a subscription just to fax a document once. We believe sending a fax should be as simple as sending an email, and that is exactly what we make possible.
The story behind FaxMonkey
FaxMonkey did not start as a business idea but as a concrete problem. As an entrepreneur, I regularly had to send documents by fax, cancellations, documents for authorities, contracts. But owning a fax machine felt anachronistic.
Existing online fax services had the same issue. They tried to push me into a subscription, required registration or had opaque pricing. I just wanted to send a single fax, why did it have to be so complicated?
So we built FaxMonkey, a service that does exactly what users need. Upload the document, enter the number, pay, done. No registration, no subscription, no hidden costs. The price is shown upfront, the transmission report arrives by email. That is how faxing should be.
